About Us

Veltre’s Pizza has been a proud New Kensington staple since 1978, but our family’s love for good food and great pizza started long before that. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh in 1975, I opened Veltre’s Brothers Pizzeria in Pittsburgh with my brothers. Those early years taught us the value of quality ingredients, hard work, and the importance of treating every customer like family.

In 1978, I decided to bring those same family recipes and traditions to New Kensington by opening my own location. Since then, Veltre’s Pizza has remained committed to the same principles we were founded on: handcrafted food made with care, authentic flavors passed down through generations, and a dedication to serving our community.

Today, we’re honored to bring our signature pizzas, wings, cheesesteaks, and classic pizzeria favorites to New Kensington, Plum, Oakmont, and Fox Chapel.
